Budget Hearing / Special Meeting of Electors: NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING TOWN OF MADGE WASHBURN COUNTY Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Madge Town Hall, a public hearing on the proposed 2023 budget for the Town of Madge in Washburn County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at all three posting location in the Town of Madge, on the website at: townofmadge.com or by calling the Clerk at 715-210-6697 for an appointment. NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF MADGE, WASHBURN COUNTY Notice is hereby given of a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Madge on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2023 budget, which begins at 7:00 pm at the Madge Town Hall. The Town Board calls this special town meeting of the electors pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1) (c) of the WI Statutes for the following purposes: To adopt the 2022 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2023 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the WI Statutes. Set the salaries of the elected officials pursuant to Sec 60.10(1)(b)(1) of the WI States. The regular Town Board meeting will immediately follow the completion of the special town meeting of the electors which is on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at 7:00pm.
